‘How To Feel Better’

A workshop for improving psychological well-being.

Gain understanding and tools to feel happier, improve well-being and overall health.

This research-based psychology event will provide you with information, exercises and strategies from the world of psychological therapy that can be used by anyone to improve day-to-day happiness.

You will learn how to feel better through a carefully chosen selection of teachings and techniques from proven approaches including CBT, Compassion-focused Therapy and neuropsychology.

The content covered is equivalent to that of three therapy sessions.

Who Is This Workshop For?

This event would be of value to anyone who experiences stress, anxiety, negative thoughts, or just wants to feel more content and at peace day by day.

ABOUT ME

My name is Elizabeth and I am a CBT and EMDR Therapist and Lecturer. I have full accreditation with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP).

I have 15 years’ experience of psychotherapy and have worked within the Private Sector, for Greater Manchester Police, an NHS Primary Care Team, an NHS Eating Disorders Team and as Course Lead and Lecturer for a Master's programme in CBT.

My qualifications include a Master’s in Advanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MSc), a Post-graduate Certificate in Primary Care Mental Health Work, a Post-graduate Certificate in Higher Education, a certification in EMDR and a degree in Psychology (BSc(hons))
